COGOlt48. Mtp Usb Device Failed Canon Camera. zip and COGOlt50.zip each include the three library files (L930.HP, L931.HP and L932.HP) necessary to install and run COGO+ Lt. The files for the 48gii are designed for the smaller screen, otherwise the programs for the 48gii and 50g are nearly identical. If you are holding the HP 50g with the keyboard facing up, then this side of the SD card should face 'down' or away from you when being inserted into the HP 50g. If you are holding the HP 50g with the keyboard facing down, then the SD card should be inserted into the HP 50g with the labeled side of the SD card facing 'up' or toward you.

I'm trying to install the drivers for my HP 50g calculator in Windows 8.1. Previously (in Windows 8) I had disabled the digitally signed driver requirement and was able to install the drivers and use the Connectivity kit that comes with the calculator. However, after upgrading to Windows 8.1, my laptop won't recognize the calculator and when I try to install the drivers it says 'Install failed', as you can see from the screen shot below. I'm sure someone else must have had this exact same problem (or at least something very similar), so if anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

The model that I posted is the exact model name of the calculator, but to clarify, it is a Hewlett Packard HP 50g Graphing Calculator. The Connectivity Software installs perfectly. However, the driver for the USB adapter so that the computer may recognize the calculator is the one that I cannot install. Therefore, I believe the issue is not one of compatibility, but that, for some reason, after installing 8.1 the system rejects the installation of the driver. I sense that the answer I'll be getting is the dreaded 'refresh your PC', which is a nightmare since you have to re-install every piece of software, including MS Office, MS Project and MS Visio; unless of course, you use your computer as an iPad, meaning only for apps and browsing the internet.

Anyway, any help will be appreciated. Thanks again.

Hi, You can try to install the driver in compatibility mode if the issue persists even after trying the steps suggested by Alan Russell. Follow the same procedure, disable the digital signature, right click the driver file and install it in the compatibility mode for windows 8.1 a.

Right click on the driver setup file and then select “Properties”. Fondamenti Di Psicometria Chiorri Pdf Printer. Choose the “Compatibility” tab. Backup And Restore Hp Procurve Switch Configuration Guide.

Place a check mark on “Run this program in compatibility mode”. Choose “Windows 7” or “Windows 8” according to your download. Click on “Apply” and then “Ok”. Try to install the driver and check the issue. You may also talk to the hardware manufacturer and see any alternative for this.

Hope this helps. Please post back with the status of the issue and we will be glad to assist you further.

I have installed Windows 10 on an iMac BootCamp setup. Windows 10 works fine, and I finally got around to attempting to install the HP-50g USB drivers from the CD that came with my HP50g.

I immediately ran into the unsigned driver problem: Win10 refuses to install an unsigned driver. There is a circumvention; you must disable the signed driver enforcement. I have done this (at least I followed the 2 different procedures that purport to disable driver signing checks), but it still fails with 'no permission for driver install'. These are the two separate techniques to disable the signed driver check: 1) Reboot and press F8 during the reboot; eventually you are given an option to disable the signed driver check, and then your system reboots again, with the check disabled. Attempting the HP50g USB driver install fails with the same message.

2) Start up a cmd terminal session with admin authority, and enter the command 'BCDEDIT /set nointegritychecks ON', then reboot again to enable this change. Following that reboot, the HP50g USB install fails with the same message. Is there anyway out of this impass?
