Verything seems to be fine, but the mouse doesn't use the new driver, it's like I haven't installed anything and it uses the generic one by windows. I've tried disbling the sign driver feature on windows8.1, and forcing to use the synaptics driver on the device manager but when I do that the pointer dissappears, and the mouse doesn't work propperly.

Also I've downloaded previous version of the drivers from acer and the generic from the synaptics driver. Nothing works. Install Freenas Hp Mediasmart Server Ex495 here. Please, what can I do? I'd love to have the drivers workig to set up my mouse preferences and enabling the 3 and 4 fingers gestures (on windows 7 in this computer worked great!) Greetings from Spain.

Synaptics' TouchPad device drivers are customized and supported by notebook manufacturers to meet specific driver requirements for their individual products. To ensure the appropriate driver for your device, always use the driver your specific notebook OEM supports. Installing a generic driver or other driver may result in the loss of OEM-customized functionality and other issues. We recommend you set a restore point before installing any driver to ensure potential need to roll back to the previous driver. NOTE: Before upgrading to Windows 10, first check with your notebook manufacturer for compatibility, then use your device's Windows update function to ensure you get the correct driver for your hardware.
